101 reasons why I put on weight
In Chinese, we always classify "Fat" as a sign of prosperity aka 福气. This is the most tactful way of saying one fat without offending the person.
Well, I am now filled with tons of 福气 cos my wedding bell is ringing soon next year.
Not only that, blame it on my belief "Never Waste Food" This belief has been with me since I was a little boy. My grandma always taught me not to waste food or else I will have a reduction of my Prosperity aka 折福.
My girlfriend is a small eater and often cannot finish her food. Seeing this, I often have to double up as her "Vacuum Cleaner" finishing her food. Can you imagine eating 1.5 servings each meal? Within months, thanks to my lovable girlfriend, I have piled up a lot of Prosperity. That's why you can hear comments that this guy or girl puts on weight after marriage cos they are living in bliss aka 幸福. This is absolutely TRUE. I am the classic example of living in bliss. To make it worse, I have developed a new bad habit.. having supper
Recently, I have just received an imperial order from my Queen. My Queen has ordered me to lose weight before our wedding. I fully agree with her that I need to lose weight in order to look more photogenic. The wedding photography package is so expensive and can be only taken once in a lifetime. I am even more determined to lose weight.
